Doused in the ether of yesterday’s libations and celebrations, I lay in the comfort of my silken pajamas, cocooning away all of yesterday’s inhibitions. Last trip around the sun found me angrily despondent. The losses seemed insurmountable. Towards the end of 2017, the world seemed to be in a collective inertia.
But a lot can be accomplished when one wears pajamas.
Thoughts can flow more freely, gratitude for living in the moment more tangible, and stress can’t penetrate into a day where one is building empires in their thoughts while (to a busy eye) just sitting idled.
Pajamas are for the dreamers who will become empire makers. Just wait, 2018. You never saw it coming.
